Getting your film reviewed in the major media like The New York Times, Time Out New York, and The Village Voice, has become very challenging. To improve your chances, we offer the services of a well-connected, highly respected publicist to handle the films booked in our CINEMAflix DISTRIBUTION Program.
Stu Zakim spent most of his career in senior public relations positions at Columbia Pictures, Universal Pictures, Triumph Films, and the De Laurentiis Entertainment Group. He is a member of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences and has been part of the publicity campaigns for such hits as The China Syndrome, Gandhi, Blue Velvet, Jurassic Park, Schindler’s List, and Apollo 13.
Stu will work as closely with you as he’s worked with Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese, Spike Lee, David Lynch, Sydney Pollack, Ivan Reitman, and Ron Howard.
His services include:
- Contacting the major media, such as The New York Times, Time Out New York, The Village Voice, Salon, and New York Magazine, as well as the industry trades like The Hollywood Reporter, Variety, The Wrap, and Deadline.
- Writing and transmitting press releases.
- Setting up interviews, when possible.
- Compiling and distributing production notes.
